More Than Macros focuses on balance. Balancing macronutrients; carbohydrates, fats, and protein. Adding nutritious options to existing meal favorites is a cornerstone methodology to finding your balance. Balancing your time with exercise is a building block to your mental and physical well being. Balancing your success as results are rendered into confidence and the humble realization that you are stronger than you ever imagined.
The year I turned 40, I was a mom of 2 young boys and I wanted to become healthier. I wanted to lose 30 pounds. In my quest for options I discovered "Macros". I had a difficult time finding information on how to count macros and how to balance and adjust them to fit my goals. I could find online workouts but I still felt like I may or may not be performing the exercises correctly. I didn't really know what I was doing, or why I was doing it. It also seemed like most of the women doing these workouts were coming from a different place than I was... Their 20's.
So I decided to become the expert. I couldn't find the resource, so I built the resource. I became a NASM certified nutrition coach, and a NASM certified personal trainer. As a mom, I understand the lack of time and the mental load that so many of us carry. I hope this resource helps to make your life a little easier, a little more informed, and a little healthier.
